Happiness

According to the article “Does happiness increase as we get older?” was performed a survey to estimate when the happiness comes. Dr. Arthur A. Stone was in charge of it and the people that were interviewed told that the happiness comes with age. He shows that "It could be that there are environmental changes, or it could be psychological changes about the way we view the world, or it could even be biological.” This may refer to the social factor or how the person appreciates his life affects their state of happiness. Regularly society thinks that young people are the happiest for his lack of concern and loads but in the survey, people around eighty years old were found to be more satisfied with themselves than younger people. Some possible reasons cited for this are: they have a deeper appreciation of the value of life, fewer aspirations and expectations of themselves, the wisdom to know they can't please everyone all the time, an inclination to see situations more positively among others. Compared with other studies made it can be noticed that the elderly remain happier, understanding that happiness increases through the years, obviously if you got a positive attitude.

Although the survey was made two years ago the results seem very reasonable because most seniors are living with less stress. Young people with their studies and adults with their jobs, responsibilities and stress are factors that could reduce happiness in people. Violent crime seen by youth daily suggests that there is no happiness in them. But not everything is negative; we need to understand that youth is the energy that makes feel good our parents, grandparents and loved ones. Perhaps the routine has forced us to forget how important it is to feel good about ourselves, feel happiness and make others feel happy too. That is why I invite you to live fully looking for things that make you feel good because you are responsible of your happiness. Good vibes.
